Throughout this course, I have focused on improving my writing skills, which has not been easy but rewarding. Writing the essays on social media addiction and obesity was an eye-opening experience. It involved an element of analysis and synthesis; further, it involved pleiting information and research. This paper was written systematically by developing an outline whereby I pointed out the issues I would address and developed information to support these issues. First, I wrote a not-so-clean copy of my essay, then a second one which aimed to improve the organization of my thoughts and details between the paragraphs. This paper benefited from peer review and the instructor's input as I got tips on strengthening my arguments and saw areas I needed to change in my writing style.

In this course, I have learned a few important things about writing. First of all, I have become more confident in the logical structuring of essays. Using the US to foster and improve the formation of thesis statements and their support from additional evidence has positively influenced my writing. Further, I have realized the value of checking and polishing posts in a way that has something to do with grammar, but more to do with communicating my ideas coherently and effectively. This course has tested my abilities and grit to press on to finish the ultimate goal to graduate and continue on to nursing school.

The two essays on social media addiction and obesity were important in my growth as a writer because they helped me practice expressing ideas and arguments and presenting them persuasively. The ability to conduct research, synthesize the information, and expand on it to produce a well-thought-out and well-written article was highly valuable. These were not just papers but very important milestones towards the development of a better writer I knew I had inside me.
